Felix Thompson is an award winning filmmaker and television director. Most recently he directed 4 episodes of the acclaimed AMC crime drama KIN (starring Charlie Cox and Aiden Gillen) including the premiere and finale of season 2. The show aired on the BBC and picked up 9 Irish Film and Television awards. Felix has also worked as the producing director for the Netflix series The Letter For The King (starring Amir Wilson and Andy Serkis) an expansive fantasy series shot in New Zealand and the Czech Republic. The series won 7 daytime Emmy awards including for best direction and was one of Netflix’s top streamed shows upon its release. His feature film debut King Jack was selected for the Sundance labs and went on to win the Audience award at the 2015 Tribeca film Festival as well as garnering an Independent Spirit Award. His short films have played at festivals around the world including SXSW, London and Tribeca and his commercial work has won awards ranging from the Eddys, to the A&D’s and Clios.
